Product Description
In a deep turquoise blue, this lovely dimpled design sandwich plate is in excellent condition. Would make a great addition to a display of coloured glass.
There is a star in the base with notched decoration all around. The plate stands on 3 little feet. There are 2 rows of graduated dimples (thumbprint) all around and the edge is softly scalloped.
Height is 6.5 cm and diameter is 23 cm. No damage and little sign of wear.
As with all pressed glass, mould lines are visible.
I think this plate dates from the 1930’s.
