Product Description
Unusual piece of Indian brassware made for Indian Colonial times. Pierced brass with a hammered floral pattern in the centre.
Scratched into the surface are the words “To Miss Bardsley, From Pushpagni….”
The three spiky legs screw into the base and I think are bakelite. Height just over 8 cm and is about 16 cm at its widest point.
I would date this piece to no later than the 1930’s.
A lovely fruit bowl that has been cared for and is in excellent condition.
