A rare Victorian Locket , Hallmark date 1881 , maker , Michael Joseph Goldsmith of Vittoria Street Birmingham UK . Michael worked in Birmingham 1880-1884 .He was born in Whitechapel, London in 1837 and married Ellen Cohen 25 Oct 1865 .Michael died in Birmingham 06 May 1892 and his wife Ellen was granted probate .The Locket is appox 2 inches high and 1.5 inches wide ,a lovely example that has not been cleaned .Email steveosbornocs@hotmail.com
