It’s unusual to find boys’ shoes in great condition (hey, they’re boys) and that makes this pair really special. They were very lightly (if ever) worn and are exceptionally crisp.
We found them in rural Texas. They were manufactured by the Roberts, Johnson & Rand of St. Louis. The company’s building is still standing, is historically protected, and was the first building in St. Louis designed specifically for manufacturing of shoes.
If I’m reading the numbers right, they’re a boys’ size 8. I don’t know how that translates into a modern size.
